Google has released its own web browser in a long-anticipated move aimed at countering the dominance of Microsoft's Internet Explorer and ensuring easy access to its market-leading search engine.
The free browser, called "Chrome", is supposed to be available for downloading on Tuesday in more than 100 countries for computers running on Microsoft's Windows operating system. Google said it's still working on versions compatible with Apple's Mac computer and the Linux operating system.
Until now, Google had been trying to undermine Internet Explorer by supporting Firefox, a web browser developed by the open-source Mozilla Foundation. Bolstered by an advertising partnership with Google's search engine, Firefox ranks as the second most popular browser, with a market share of more than 10%. Google recently extended its advertising alliance with Firefox through 2011. Bearing the stamp of Google's renowned brand, Chrome could be an even more formidable rival to Explorer.
Google is worried that Microsoft could abuse its power by manipulating Internet Explorer's default settings in a way that might diminish traffic to Google's search engine, which serves as the hub of the largest online ad network.
Microsoft's Internet Explorer is the No. 1 web browser with a 72.2 percent market share, followed by Mozilla's Firefox at 19.7 percent and Apple's Safari at 6.4 percent, according to Net Applications.
Features of new Google web browser CHROME:
01 ) To make things even faster, Chrome will use a new JavaScript Virtual Machine from Denmark called V8.
02) To deal with the new types of demands users make of web browsers, Chrome will use multi-processing to handle all those demands, giving each element of a page (a JavaScript Command, a Flash video) its own memory and process, instead of the single-threading architecture used by today's browsers. Multi-threading should make Chrome faster and more secure.
03) New tabs, above the address bar, will handle those different processes. So JavaScript threads will be in one tab and a video in another, allowing each to load simultaneously, reducing memory load, and ensuring that one bug in a page doesn't crash the whole site (or whole browser), just that tab.
04) When you start typing in the address bar, Chrome offers suggestions to autocomplete your request--and not just based on your history and bookmarks like Firefox does, but also based on the most popular web sites as calculated by Google. You can even search a site from the address bar by typing a site name and hitting tab.
05) This one is on par with IE8 and the newest version of Firefox: a privacy mode, where you can browse without anything from the session being written to your computer--no cache, no history, no cookies, nothing. (Dubbed "porn mode" by most blogs, but with serious applications, such as public browsing, as well.)
06) Chrome is being built on WebKit, the basis of Apple's Safari browser and the browser in the Google Android mobile platform, and using Google Gears, a web applications plug-in/platform.
07) Convenience is further advanced by a personalized home page with screenshots of the pages you visit most.
08) It's extra secure; the browser includes Google's ever-growing list of spyware and malware sites, and every tab is "sandboxed," which means whatever happens in the tabs can't affect your computer.. And no more pop-ups, not even JavaScript ones. Every pop-up is contained in the tab in starts in, collected as a small link on the bottom of the page. You can drag it off the page to see it, but it won't pop up without your permission.

Google celebrates the First Day Of Summer
Google has changed its logo for the day for celebrating the First Day Of Summer.
In the United States and the rest of the northern hemisphere, the first day of the summer season is the day of the year when the Sun is farthest north (on June 20th or 21st). This day is known as the Summer Solstice.
The declination of the Sun on the Summer Solstice is known as the tropic of cancer (23° 27'). In the southern hemisphere, winter and summer solstices are exchanged so that the Summer Solstice is the day on which the Sun is farthest south.
A common misconception is that the earth is further from the sun in winter than in summer. Actually, the Earth is closest to the sun in December which is winter in the Northern hemisphere.
As the Earth travels around the Sun in its orbit, the north-south position of the Sun changes over the course of the year due to the changing orientation of the Earth's tilted rotation axes. The dates of maximum tilt of the Earth's equator correspond to the Summer Solstice and Winter Solstice, and the dates of zero tilt to the Vernal Equinox and Autumnal Equinox.

Google celebrates the birthday of Diego Velázquez
Google celebrates the birthday of famous painter Diego Velázquez by changing google's logo.
Diego Rodríguez de Silva y Velázquez (June 6, 1599 – August 6, 1660), commonly referred to as Diego Velázquez, was a Spanish painter who was the leading artist in the court of King Philip IV. He was an individualistic artist of the contemporary baroque period, important as a portrait artist. In addition to numerous renditions of scenes of historical and cultural significance, he painted scores of portraits of the Spanish royal family, other notable European figures, and commoners, culminating in the production of his masterpiece Las Meninas (1656).
From the first quarter of the nineteenth century, Velázquez's artwork was a model for the realist and impressionist painters, in particular Édouard Manet. Since that time, more modern artists, including Spain's Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dalí, as well as the Anglo-Irish painter Francis Bacon, have paid tribute to Velázquez by recreating several of his most famous works.

Google celebrates first hot air ballon flight
Google celebrates the first hot air balloon flight with showing a balloon in googles logo.
On the 19th September 1783 Pilatre De Rozier, a scientist, launched the first hot air balloon called 'Aerostat Reveillon'. The passengers were a sheep, a duck and a rooster and the balloon stayed in the air for a grand total of 15 minutes before crashing back to the ground.
The first manned attempt came about 2 months later on 21st November, with a balloon made by 2 French brothers, Joseph and Etienne Montgolfier. The balloon was launched from the centre of Paris and flew for a period of 20 minutes. The birth of hot air ballooning!!!
Just 2 years later in 1785 a French balloonist, Jean Pierre Blanchard, and his American co pilot, John Jefferies, became the first to fly across the English Channel. In these early days of ballooning, the English Channel was considered the first step to long distance ballooning so this was a large benchmark in ballooning history.
Unfortunately, this same year Pilatre de Rozier (the world's first balloonist) was killed in his attempt at crossing the channel. His balloon exploded half an hour after takeoff due to the experimental design of using a hydrogen balloon and hot air balloon tied together.

Google celebrates 125th Birthday of Walter Gropius
Google is celebrating the 125th Birthday of Walter Gropius.
Walter Adolph Georg Gropius (May 18, 1883 – July 5, 1969) was a German architect and founder of Bauhaus. Along with Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Le Corbusier, he is widely regarded as one of the pioneering masters of "modern" architecture.
In 1908 Gropius found employment with the firm of Peter Behrens, one of the first members of the utilitarian school. His fellow employees at this time included Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Le Corbusier, and Dietrich Marcks. In 1910 Gropius left the firm of Behrens and together with fellow employee Adolf Meyer established a practice in Berlin.
Together they share credit for one of the seminal modernist buildings created during this period, the Faguswerk, Alfeld-an-der-Leine, Germany, a shoe lace factory. The glass curtain walls of this building demonstrated both the modernist principle that form reflect function and Gropius's concern with providing healthful conditions for the working class. Other works of this early period include the office and factory building for the Werkbund Exhibition (1914) in Cologne.

Third Step: Blend your ad units on your webpage with the articles
If you missed First Step and Second Step kindly refer it.
Blending your ads within the post is a very good idea to increase your adsense income from what you are earning right now. Blending your ads give you a greater chance that a visitor may click on the ad unit as it seem to be a part of the article.
Now how do you blend the ad unit in google adsense, it’s very simple. There are two methods to blend the ads.
01) First Method: This method is used when you are directly placing ads from blogger option. Login to your Blogger account and move to the “Layout” page of the blog you want the adsense ad units to be blended with the article. Under the “Layout” page options click on “Page Elements” tab. There you will see the “Edit” link in the “Blog Posts” box, click the link and a new page will be opened showing you many options.
Check on the option “Show Ads Between Posts” and you will be asked to configure the ad unit color and size. Then select the size of the ad unit you want and click on the “Blend Template” option in the drop down menu under “Colors” option. When you select this option you will see the ad unit automatically changing in the color scheme that blends with your webpage and post.
Click on “Save Changes” button and you are done.
02) Second Method: If you have not permitted blogger to place your ads then you can use this option. Login to your Google Adsense account and click on “Adsense Setup” tab. Then click on the link “Adsense for Content” and select the option “ad unit”.
Now select the ad unit size under the tab “Format”, after this select the color of the ad unit which will blend the ads. Make sure you have created your custom color palettes before following this step.
Select the appropriate colors that match the colors on your webpage i.e. Border, Background, Title, Text and URL. But remember you should blend and not camouflage the ad units as it’s against the Google Adsense TOS.
Save the ad unit and place the code on your blogger webpage and your ad units will be blended with earning you more revenue from before.

Blogger launched new feature: Scheduled post publishing
Scheduled post publishing, Which was under testing on Blogger in draft last month, is now live for everyone. If you set a post’s date into the future,
Blogger will wait to publish until that time comes.
Amazing right, very kool stuff. Imagine you ever wanted to announce or write about something on a certain date and time, but was not possible by itself or you were on a vacation and wanted that your posts should be posted regularly, so now this things are possible.
Scheduling a post is easy to do: on the post editor page, click the
“Post Options” toggle to show the “Post date and time” fields. Then,
type a post date and time that’s in the future. When you click the
“Publish” button, your post will become “scheduled.” When the date
and time of the post arrive, it will be automatically published to your blog.
“Scheduled” posts appear in your Edit Posts list alongside your
drafts and published posts. To un-schedule a post, simply save it
as a draft any time before it gets published.
Now everyone can post anything related to future that should be posted on a specific date and time.

Make Money Online A Guide And Walkthrough for Experts as well as Beginners
Many of us or you can say most of us have a question that "How to make money online? or How to earn more online?". So from my own experience of blogging and making money online through many advertising programs I am going to share my own secrets of how to earn and increase your online adsense revenue on your blog or website.
So what are the key points in making money online which play a vital role in increasing your online revenue:
First is first :- original and a very good content which is fresh, no spelling mistakes and nicely formatted(i.e. appropriate headings, right tags, font size and color, etc).
Second :- equally important as the first one "keywords".
Third :- right placement and blending of the adsense ads with the content.
Fourth :- search engine optimization(SEO)
Fifth :- making sure each and every link on the website or blog is working, so that your visitors are not disappointed and visit your blog again and again.
The above points mentioned will be covered in details for your convenience.
Now you can get an idea that its not an easy job to get your blog or website to be ranked on the front pages of google search engines and get more traffic to increase your revenue and make money online.
Ya but if you follow what i had followed step by step you can make money online easily without any investments.
Lets Get Started with First Step : be original no copying of content
This step is most important step because if you don’t have the original data created by you, your blog or website is not going to pull the crowd or visitors you need for earning more from your blog. If the blog that you have posted is not original or copied from some other source it will work in negative manner for your visitors. For example a visitor who comes on your website feels that this blog has been copied or is not latest, he will leave your site and this impression (Remember first impression is the last impression) makes sure in the visitors mind not to visit the blog next time.
Now how to be original, it’s very simple.
First you decide what topics you need to cover. Then do some research on the internet, books or any kind of data that can be useful in writing your own blog or post. Once you have collected enough data get to the work for creating your own original post for your blog.
If you don’t have time for writing then you can get the freelancer writers who write many articles for $10-$15 per article or may be less depending on what kind of freelancer he or she is.
So now no need to copy just be original and start earning more by getting more and more loyal visitors to your site for original and latest posts.
Look for the Second Step.
Second Step : equally important as the first one is "keywords"
Keywords on your webpage are as important as oxygen to breathing.
So that’s why most of the bloggers and webmasters spend a lot of time researching the right keywords to use on their content to earn extra easy money online.
Many of us know that most of the traffic that once webpage receives comes from search engines. And keywords are the life lines of a search engine. Anyone who wants to search something or a particular topic he/she will enter a keyword in their search engines and will click on the most relevant webpage that matches their search term.
So imagine if you have some of the keywords that are typed in a search engine by any visitor then its most likely the situation that your webpage will be displayed in the search results. But this is not an easy job because internet is like an ocean where the water (webpage) level is going on increasing every second. So you need to be very much precise in choosing the right kind of the keywords that will help you to make more money online.
You can always see the top searched keywords on the internet.
Also there is one another problem that there are millions of other sites out there and therefore if you choose a popular keyword chances are high that your site could end up being listed as the 1,00,000 th site, making it impossible for anybody to even think of your webpage. In this case we say that the particular keyword is too competitive.
So the trick is to modify the popular keyword and turn it into a keyword phrase that may not be very popular and does not have too many sites competing for it. The result is that when somebody does a search using that keyword, chances of finding your site on the first page are very high. This dramatically increases the potential targeted traffic for your site.
So if somebody has the best and most impressive content but ignores the keywords they are using, chances are that visitors will not be able to find it and therefore it will be useless and in fact chances are high that the site will fail altogether.
Look for the Third Step.
