Third Step: Blend your ad units on your webpage with the articles

If you missed First Step and Second Step kindly refer it.

Blending your ads within the post is a very good idea to increase your adsense income from what you are earning right now. Blending your ads give you a greater chance that a visitor may click on the ad unit as it seem to be a part of the article.

Now how do you blend the ad unit in google adsense, it’s very simple. There are two methods to blend the ads.

01) First Method: This method is used when you are directly placing ads from blogger option. Login to your Blogger account and move to the “Layout” page of the blog you want the adsense ad units to be blended with the article. Under the “Layout” page options click on “Page Elements” tab. There you will see the “Edit” link in the “Blog Posts” box, click the link and a new page will be opened showing you many options.

Check on the option “Show Ads Between Posts” and you will be asked to configure the ad unit color and size. Then select the size of the ad unit you want and click on the “Blend Template” option in the drop down menu under “Colors” option. When you select this option you will see the ad unit automatically changing in the color scheme that blends with your webpage and post.

Click on “Save Changes” button and you are done.

02) Second Method: If you have not permitted blogger to place your ads then you can use this option. Login to your Google Adsense account and click on “Adsense Setup” tab. Then click on the link “Adsense for Content” and select the option “ad unit”.

Now select the ad unit size under the tab “Format”, after this select the color of the ad unit which will blend the ads. Make sure you have created your custom color palettes before following this step.

Select the appropriate colors that match the colors on your webpage i.e. Border, Background, Title, Text and URL. But remember you should blend and not camouflage the ad units as it’s against the Google Adsense TOS.

Save the ad unit and place the code on your blogger webpage and your ad units will be blended with earning you more revenue from before.
